Morningside Fall is a great Book 2 of 3, and does an excellent job of setting up the third installment and conclusion to the Legends of the Duskwalker Trilogy. It's not as much of a quick-read as Book 1, but the slowed tempo through the middle of the book provides a fantastic payoff at the end.
